Perhaps it is just me, but I think someone who essentially will potentially have to be prepared to be President of the United States on January 1, 2009 needs to be somewhat intellectual. Of course I am referring to Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Before I get slapped hear me out. This has nothing to do with the fact that she is a women, it is not sexiest to judge and criticize a possible presidential candidate in regards to intellect and credentials.
The fact that we are less than 40 days from the election and she has not given a press conference and only has one interview under her belt (I don't count the Sean Hannity interview because, lets face it, it's Sean Hannity) is besides the point. She has lied numerous times about the "Bridge to Nowhere" and had no clue what the Bush Doctrine was. This sounds like someone I want running the country. She has a bachelors in Sports-Journalism, that should be enough right? hell anyone can be presidents under these circumstances. It's a joke, and shows the true character of John McCain.

Americans Get an F
The American public is failing. We may still be able to salvage our grade and pass with a D, but its going to take a will to change and a lot of work. Americans wonder why the Media coverage of the election is so poor and well tasteless. They blame MSNBC and FOX for their biased reports and hack journalism. When we only have ourselves to blame. Americans seem to care more about a good story than they do about key issues, they view the Presidential Election as a national reality soap opera.
The problem is people do not want to hear about ethics reform or economic policy, it's to boring. People do not want to be educated, they want to hear more about the pregnant teenager and her redneck boyfriend. Well if the American public is going to be this ignorant than we deserve the elected officials we get. I'm begining to lose my trust in this country and its people, that is very sad.
Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.
